So what do engineers do anyway?
Engineers use math and science to solve problems. They impact almost every part of your daily life, from the roads and computers you use, to the toothpaste and toothbrush that you used this morning! Share these web sites with your teacher, try some of the awesome engineering activities, find out how you can become an engineer, and explore the countless ways engineers change the world.
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Student Section at UT-Austin organizes a summer camp for girls in 6th and 7th grades (Careers in Engineering for Women, or CEW) and a two-day event about engineering for high school girls (Encounter with Engineering, or EWE).
